Do You Know These Basics of Choosing a Domain Name?

Having a good domain name that people remember is essential to running a successful website. I’ve seen quite a few people asking about this recently so I’ve decided to make a quick video on the basic principles behind choosing and registering a good domain name. This is my first ever video so I was quite nervous producing this (and I hope my terrible voice is at least bearable for a few minutes lol!) Please leave me comments on what you thought of the video. I am keen to produce lots more videos and I need feedback to help me to do it!

Great Video for your first attempt.
I kow I sometimes wonder with all the slick green screen pro looking vids - if the marketers who make them are in the same world as the ‘normal everyday people’ who are plodding along without the mega budgets!
So seeing someone real giving out some useful advice is nice to see.

I’ve just started using NameCheap myself after sticking with another domain seller for years - and I must say …not only are their prices good… but they are quick to sort the propergations and techie stuff.

The thought of it is much worse than the reality mate! Believe me - I was VERY very nervous when I made the video, but when I come to do the next one I won’t really give it a second thought because I’ve had some amazing feedback on it - so it’s great to know that people enjoyed it.
I still hate hearing my own voice though - but I think that’s the same for everyone LOL. You have to just get over it because if other people enjoy your videos then that’s really all the matters. At least I don’t have to listen to it myself
I’d really encourage you to do some vidoes. All in all I really enjoyed it and plan to make more and more. I think video’s are becoming ever important in the quest to earn money online.

Very interesting. I am always impressed by those that just do it. We all are way too harsh on ourselves. We need to relax more. Good advise too.
